Welcome to Samurai AI, a service provided by Spaice Team, LDA ("Spaice Team"). Our app is designed to enhance your reading experience by summarizing educational, news, and other informative content from platforms like YouTube, web articles, and TED talks. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Samurai AI app, a service of Spaice Team, LDA, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them.

Samurai AI, owned and operated by Spaice Team, LDA, is a productivity tool that summarizes online content, making it easier and faster for users to consume information. Our service is primarily aimed at educational and news content. Note that our summaries are interpretations and may not represent every aspect of the original content.

• Apple and Google Subscriptions: We offer monthly and annual subscription plans through Apple and Google platforms. These subscriptions allow users to save materials to their read-later lists and summarize up to 100 hours of content per month.
• Subscription Reset: Each month, the 100-hour limit resets. Unused hours from the previous month do not carry over to the next month.
• Cancellation Policy: Subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time. The subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Price Changes: Spaice Team, LDA reserves the right to modify subscription prices. We will notify subscribers at least 7 days in advance of any price changes.

• Account Creation: To access our service, you must create an account by providing an email address, which will be connected to your account.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating and updating your account.

Even after your subscription has expired or been canceled, you will retain access to materials previously summarized by the Samurai AI app while your account was active.

All content provided by Samurai AI, including software, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Spaice Team, LDA or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

• User Content: Users are solely responsible for any content they save or use within the Samurai AI app. This includes ensuring they have the necessary rights or permissions to use such content.
• Disclaimer of Liability: Spaice Team, LDA is not responsible for the content uploaded, saved, or summarized by users through the Samurai AI app. Users assume all risks associated with their use of content within the app, including reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such content.
• Compliance with Laws: Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in relation to the content they access and use within the app. Users are solely liable for any legal consequences or violations arising from their use of the content.

Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your personal data. By using Samurai AI, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy. 

You agree not to use Samurai AI for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. Prohibited activities include spreading malware, engaging in fraudulent activities, and violating intellectual property rights.

Spaice Team, LDA reserves the right to modify these Terms or the services at any time. Changes will be posted on our app or website and effective immediately unless stated otherwise.

Samurai AI, under Spaice Team, LDA, may terminate or suspend your access to the app for any breach of these Terms without prior notice or liability.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Spaice Team, LDA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spaice Team, LDA and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Samurai AI app will be resolved through arbitration or in the courts located in Portugal. By using our service, you consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Failure by Spaice Team, LDA to enforce any right or provision will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
